The staff of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy treat and care for patients in the operating rooms on the Leipziger Straße campus and the University Women's Hospital. We also have two intensive care units with a total of 24 ventilation beds and the Intermediate Care Station with, currently, six monitoring beds where our clinic staff care for the patients. Furthermore, anesthesiologists are also in our pain clinic for acute and chronic pain patients and as emergency physicians on the premises for the emergency service of the city of Magdeburg and on duty for the helicopter Christoph 36.
